Interfaith Hospitality Network of Summit County

People Helping People

A community response for homeless families.

The mission of the Interfaith Hospitality Network is to mobilize communities to help low-income families achieve and sustain independence.

In the Interfaith Hospitality Network, people of all faiths are called to reach out to those in need, to recognize the dignity and worth of every individual, and to acknowledge and celebrate the bonds that join all people.

Providing shelter, meals, and comprehensive assistance for homeless families is only the beginning of each Networks's goals.  In time, Networks become catalysts for community initiatives such as transitional housing, parenting classes, and job training programs.  Networks bring people together, building bridges and fostering relationships that stretch across class, racial, and religious boundaries.
